Jeremiah 24:7
“I will give them a heart to know me, that I am Lord. They will be my people, and I will be their God, for they will return to me with all their heart”

Purpose Statement:

To Grow as believers so that we will Glorify our Savior by our Actions, as we Partner together to Proclaim the Good News to non-believers.

The Student Ministry at The Church at Pinnacle Hills wants to see our students develop a relationship with Jesus Christ that will prepare them for life after high school. When our students graduate from high school we don’t want them to graduate from their faith. We plan on giving our student every opportunity to encounter a living God through teaching the Word of God without apologizing, through authentic worship, getting them plugged into accountability groups, and allowing them to minister to each other and across America.

minister of students

I have been married to Stacy for 9 years, and we have four children: Emma (7 years old), Olivia (5 years old), Eli (2 years old), and Reese (3 months old.) We also have a dog and a cat – definitely a full house! I have served in Student Ministry since 1994. I accepted Christ into my life when I was in the 5th grade, but it wasn’t until I was a sophomore in high school that my relationship with Christ began to deepen.

I was called into ministry during my freshman year of college where I was attending the University of Arkansas. I majored in Kinesiology, and played football for two years before I had a career-ending injury. I love sports, especially football! God has placed a passion in my heart to reach teenagers: to help them learn how to purse God, to help them connect with others so they will be challenged spiritually, and to teach them to share their faith with others.

associate minister of middle school students

I accepted Christ at the age of 16 the summer before my senior year of high school and was called into the ministry later that summer. I graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University in May of 2005 with a degree in Family Psychology. I then began working at the Church at Pinnacle Hills as the Middle school student Pastor later that month. It has been an incredible journey as I have been a part of God doing amazing things in students lives here in Northwest Arkansas. I married my beautiful wife Meghan in December of 2006 and am enjoying this time of getting to know her better every day. For right now it is just us and or Dog “Hewitt.”

I have been involved in student ministry since I graduated high school in 2001. It is my goal for our student ministry to consist of students who are passionate about their faith, distinct in their lifestyle, and intentional on reaching others for Christ. My philosophy in making this happen is to pray for my students, build relationships with them, and show them that I love them and care about them. I fully believe that God is going to use our student ministry to touch northwest Arkansas, America and the world for Jesus Christ.
